Briefd is a personalized daily news briefing app. We curate and summarize news stories based on your interests and reading behavior, delivering a concise briefing each day. The Explain This feature provides AI-generated explanations of news stories grounded in real sources.
Briefd offers two tiers:
Premium subscriptions are billed through your app store account (Apple App Store or Google Play). You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Subscription prices may change with notice.
You must create an account to use Briefd. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date.

Story summaries and Explain This responses are generated by AI models. While we strive for accuracy and ground all explanations in real sources, AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. You should always refer to the original source articles for authoritative information. Briefd is not a substitute for professional journalism, legal advice, financial guidance, or medical information.
Original news articles belong to their respective publishers. Briefd provides brief AI-generated summaries and always links back to the original source. The Briefd app, its design, and its proprietary curation algorithms are owned by Briefd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written consent.
Briefd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all content will be accurate or complete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Briefd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
